End of the 1st 9 Weeks

Wow!  This Nine weeks have come to an end quickly.  We have 9 Week Assessments Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week.  Honey Bees and Elephants I need you to do your very best on these tests.  Prove to your teachers that you have listened, learned, and can produce outstanding results.

Check with your teacher to make sure that you have completed all assignments.  Take charge of your grades.  Be responsible!

Whats exciting in Math

In MATH we have had a lot of fun studying numbers the first few weeks of school.  We have been working on place value, comparing and ordering numbers, and patterns.  The next few weeks we will be diving into addition and subtraction up to 3 digits to solve problems.  We will also utilize estimation strategies to verify reasonableness of a solution.
